A PUBLIC HEARING WILL BE HELD ON MONDAY, MAY 10, 2021 AT 7:00 PM FOR THE PURPOSE OF OBTAINING PUBLIC COMMENTS ON A PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE SLAUGHTER BEACH ZONING MAP TO REZONE FROM CONSERVATION-AGRICULTURAL (C/A) TO RESIDENTIAL (R-2) THAT PARCEL OWNED BY THE REVOCABLE TRUST OF JOHN A. J. FOREST, JR. AND IDENTIFIED AS FOLLOWS: TAX MAP PARCEL NO. 230-1.00-159.00, SLAUGHTER BEACH, W SIDE BAY AVE., LOT 40.

Maintenance Work Will Require the Closure of the Bridge over Cedar Creek-Sussex County
Traffic Information: DelDOT announces to motorists that their contractor will be performing repairs on the bridge over Cedar Creek on Route 36/Cedar Beach Road between Lighthouse Road and Wells Road.
The closure will occur at 7 a.m. on Monday, May 3 until 11 p.m. on Monday, May 17, pending weather.
Detour Routes:
Motorists traveling east on Route 36/Cedar Beach Road will be detoured south on Route 1 to Slaughter Beach Road northeast to Bay Avenue.
Motorists traveling west on Route 36/Cedar Beach Road will be detoured south on Bay Avenue to Slaughter Beach Road onto Route 1 and take Cedar Creek Road eastbound.
Detour signage will be posted for motorists. At all times, residents will have access to their homes but may need to take the posted detour route.
